Capitol Area Animal Medical Center

This place is the worst!!! Took my dog there for an irritation on his tail and on top of the $52 visit they charged me $51 to put cream on a spot the size of a half dollar/ the same cream I paid $60 for. The office manager told me I was paying for expertise and staff...hmmm thought that's what the exam charge was for?? when I said I would write bad reviews for them she implied they would sue me. This was one big $160 lesson to never go there again!!!

I have been using this clinic for 20 years. I came here origionally because it was the only place I called that answered questions about ferrets correctly. I no longer have a ferret, but I have been using Dr. Steven Stake as my vet for my dogs and cats forever. He is kindly and loves my pets as much as I do. I don't know what I will do when and if he retires.

Pros: Knowlegeable staff, Very caring, Multiple pet discount

Cons: A bit pricey
