I think it depends on which vet you get. They seem to have conflicting views on things. The rest of the staff are outstanding. They are very kind and caring towards you and your pet

My cat was not able to urinate and my regular vet said they were closing up and that I should take him to an emergency clinic. Wheatfield took me right away and even though Chunky needed surgery they stayed late and did the surgery on him right away. The vet called me after the surgery- it was 10:00 at night! I don't get service that great from my own doctor! Wheatfield is now the only place I go.
