I can't say enough about Dr. D and his staff. My Teddy goes monthly for spinal adjustments, which has kept him walking. I bring all my animals there and have never been dissappointed. They have always treated my pets with kindness and understanding. Treatment has always been appropriate and they will listen to me and my concerns. I highly recommend Dr D and his staff to anyone who will listen. I would not take my pets to anyone else.

My dogs never have to experience a bad trip to the vet again. As soon as we pull up and I open the back of my truck, they are bounding outside just waiting to get in and meet some new friends- human and animal alike.

The staff is always loving towards the two of them, with treats and and tummy rubs in abundance.

Dr. Dougherty has an amazing rapport with every animal that walks through the door. He presents his ideas and diagnoses in a clear and concise manner, is quick with a laugh (or a treat), and does an excellent job of listening to what the owner has to say about their companions.

Simply put, I have experienced some awful DVMs in the past. I have been lectured on everything from food choices to training methods, and even had one crazy vet ask if he could muzzle my dog because he thought they looked mean!!! The first time we went to Dr. Dougherty's practice was like a breath of fresh air. I highly, highly, highly recommend the Bayport Village Animal Helath Center for anyone who is looking for a good veteranarian. An awesome experience all around.
