Veterinary Surgical and Diagnostic Specialists

I cannot say enough good things about this 24 hour Vet Hospital. The vets there are specialists in many fields. This is not a "routine" vet care clinic. Unless an animal is taken in through the emergency department, a referring vet form is required.

I have used this hospital for many years. I first met Dr Stobie (owner) when my old GSD required hip surgery. He was the operating surgeon. He also treated her until she passed 2 years later from degenerative myleopathy.

Dr. Stobie later treated my first rescued GSD, Lance for hip and elbow dysplasia. He also treated another GSD rescue (Sniper required bi-lateral elbow surgery at one year of age last year. Sniper has had a 98% recovery!!!!!!!)

On March 3rd 2008, VSDS Specialist Dr. Joy Weinstein saved Lance's life when he bloated late in the evening and required emergency surgery to correct his flipped stomach (torsion) Lance has since recoverd 100%.

And CLEAN! Oh my GOD they are cleaner than alot of human hospitals I have been in!

While this vet hospital is expensive, they have proved to be worth every penny to me. Several members of my pack would not be able to enjoy life as they are now if not for VSDS!

Pros: This Vet Hospital is one of the FINEST
