She has German Shepherds, and uses one of them in search and rescue. Her methods will not ruin, frighten or cause the dog to shut down. Many trainers of GSD's think they need to mean to the dogs to get though to them, not Deb. Her price is worth it.

I met Deb Walker though German Shepherd clubs. She came out and did a demonstration, and had my two hooligans (teenaged German Shepherds) , under control in minutes. She uses gentle methods, and can recommend good books on the training and psychology of dogs. The top book she recommends, is "The Culture Clash".
She is also nice to humans. Before I met her I ran into the typical trainers, lots of ego, and hype, even one yeller. Frankly if I am going to spend my hard earned dollars, I want my dogs and myself to be treated with respect.
