Q: My iguana does like being held or touched

My iguana freaks out whenever someone comes near it. Im not sure if it is a male or female yet but i was thinking about getting it fixed to calm it down some. I tried to train it but now it just hates the thought of us going near it.

A: Maybe it was the training method, you don't train them like you would a cat or dog and they don"t do "tricks", they are usually gentle animals that can be affectionate, and I don't think getting him/her fixed will do a thing, just try gently touchin… more ›
