My 29 year old thoroughbred often coughs a couple of times when he runs in from the pasture. I attribute it to once when I had some hay that I later realized was somewhat moldy. A horse that is "win… read more

I went to a horse forum for advice about which bit to use on my mare and was basically told I was a horrible rider and needed to get both the horse and myself into lessons. I like going bare back riding. You don't have to saddle up, just put on the bridle and jump on. It is hard to just jump on my horse Rebel. He is just over 15 hands and he is pretty big. I would like to learn how to just jump on without having to get on top of the water trough or tree stump.
