It is good that Petco does not sell puppies or kittens. However, they do sell "pocket pets". I have a reliable source that told me when they came to Alaska they contacted the local animal control about getting discounts on cremation fees because a lot of the rabbits, gerbils, mice, rats ect. did not make the trip up here. So until they stop selling pocket pets they will be my last resort.

I also really like Petco! I love the treats bar for dogs, how they all look homemade. My dog goes nuts for them too. They also have a great variety of food etc..

Petco in Watertown is very supportive of our SPCA. They display kittens, they attend SPCA fundraising events and promote the services of the SPCA. I am proud to have such a store in our community!

I completely agree with you! It is a sad how they obtain some of their reptiles and what these small animals go through on their way to the store.

Petco has the best customer service out their hands down! They employees are SO helpful! They are friendly and always greet you and ask if you need assistance ASAP. I also had my hands full at petco and one of the employees helped me out to my car with my bags! I've never had that happen before in my life! They always hook you up with free samples too!

Petco supports shelters!
