We might like this place more than the dog does!

My wife and I have had cats for several years, and their idea of a trip on the town is sitting in the upstairs window instead of the usual downstairs window. But when we got a dog last spring we started looking for more active activities. We found two local dog boutiques - the first was not impressive (and in fact my wife says I'm not allowed to take our dog back there) but the Barrington Bakery is a dream.

The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely welcoming. They have a great selection of products, including baked goods made on site. This last Christmas they had pictures with Santa (free of charge but accepting donations for local shelters) and they have Mardi Gras and Valentines day events coming up in February. Nearly every weekend we've been to the store, a different rescue group has been on site. They are very dedicated to the local community.

If I can figure out how to add pictures for a local business, I'll post the birthday cake they made for our puppy.
