This is the pet store I have been going to since I was a young child and I brought my first hamster. I since have gone there for my dog supplies, and tropical fish, food and treatments. They have a great selectio of natural treats and chews as well as bulk small animal and bird food. The have a large selection of birds, ferrits, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles etc and the knowledgeable staff to go along with it. I recieved great customer service recently when my tropical tank had a bad case of ick! I was given the most effective product and how to use it and all tankmates survived and are now healthy. I too have been very pleased with Colonial Pets and their staff. If they don't carry what you want they can probably get it for you. The cages always look and smell clean. I won't say that I don't enjoy taking Boo Boo into Petco and looking at the treat bar etc. but I like to spend my money in a locally owned establishment.
