The Lynchburg PetsMart is wonderful! They allow us, the Humane Society for Campbell County, to utilize 6 of their 10 cat cages for our homeless, adoptable cats. This has increased our adoption rate for cats tremendously! People would much rather shop at a PetsMart than come to a local shelter or pound. We have volunteers who do all the work - tranporting cats to PetsMart, cleaning cages, feeding and watering, playing with them, and handling adoptions. PetsMart employees also handle adoptions for us. Thank you, PetsMart, but being such a great community supporter of animals!
