I want to adopt a cat from a shelter or rescue. I haven't owned a cat in a while (my childhood cat died years ago and my life was too busy to adopt another one for a long time).

I went into the store just to see what cat supplies cost. The owner of the store was very helpful about things like food, toys, litter...etc. She didn't try to tell me that any food but the most expensive is poison for my cat (some boutique store workers have actually told me this).

She does have a program where if you buy 10 bags you get one free on the premium brands! Not very many small pet stores do this.

When I get my cat after Thanksgiving I will return to her store and buy some things just because of her great service.

Pros: Friendly, helpful, more knowledge than most

Cons: Small, lower selection that some, but these are minor issues
