PETCO Bakersfield

Overall...I go here because they have a wide variety of things and I have a big enough mouth to force them to pay attention to me. I don't have much of a choice when everything else is pretty much no better. Pets have become retail. It's sad...but true.

Pros: There are a few select people working there who are knowledge able, there are great products and a wide variety of pets to choose from.

Cons: There are many people who think they are knowledgeable...and are idiots...and a few who just admit knowing nothing...worse, they have those who ignore you because they know nothing and hate their jobs. Their service in the fish department is EXTREMELY slow and as for the rodents in the front...8 people will walk by, watching you look at them and ignore you entirely, espeically when you are attempting to get their attentionf or help.
