PETCO San Gabriel

Petco and Petsmart both are reputable places. Even though not all of their foods are high quality and are most likely junk food and are bad for your dog, they are pretty knowledgable.

I would never groom my dog at a petco/petsmart since it seems like all they did was pick up these "kids" randomly from a college with no experience.

I like going to these places because my dog can interact with others, and there are treats that I can get without driving far.

The place is not really clean. I mean the staff aren't the one with the "DOGS" and they try to keep it clean, but SOME RUDE PEOPLE with big dogs are very lazy. They let their dog shit or pee on the floor and don't even pick it up. Can you imagine who might step on that? wouldn't you be upset if you stepped on it?!

Anyways, there is one staff at this rosemead petco that all he would do is sit at the cashier. I asked him for help but he was "TOO BIG" in general size to stand up or such. He has to sit in a chair all day on the cashier machine and asked others to help me.

I didn't really like the service, but the manager was great he helped me alot.

Anyways I rate this a 2.5-3/5

for food quality I would prefer to go to the Pasadena store on colorado.

Pros: meet new dogs, few special low prices

Cons: like all petco the staffs aren't dirty but some OWNERS
