Mc Kee's Feed Garden& Pet Ctr

McKee's Feed and Seed has been around Pocatello for years. I have enjoyed shopping there as well as going to their Petting Zoo. As a mother I took my children, as a grandmother I am now taking my grandchildren. The owners of the McKee's Petting zoo are some of the nicest people I have ever had an opportunity to know.

As a clown, and yes I am one, they have always been generous to me and helped me learn about pets and different types of animals. They even taught me to hold a mouse. I purchase my food for my small animals there as well as dog equipment, bird cages, etc. They have always sold me excellent merchandise and it has outlasted many of my ventures. Their products are reasonably priced and excel in quality.

As a business owner myself I try to also put my customers first. If more small businesses would work as hard at pleasing their customers as McKee's did it would only improve the quality of their stores. As soon as I walk in I am waited on. Not harrassed, waited on. This is important to me. I can go on and on about this terrific, small town businesses, but I think you get my drift.

Now McKee's is redoing its Petting Zoo for all of us to enjoy. They work hard to make the zoo especially fun for us. I know in this time of economic instability they have to work extra hard to make things work. Everyone does. They are working to give their animals a better space, a better life, etc. I encourage everyone who reads this to donate to McKee's Feed and Seed's Petting Zoo. If you have visted them in the past and walked past the donation box, now is the time to give. If you did put something in the donation box, I hope you can find it in your heart to be even more generous. I know I am going to try to do something. No matter how big or small. Even if it hurts a little, which I know it does right now. Thank you McKee's for all you have done for our community, our city, our state. You are terrific. i have always been treated right when i have gone to this store. the staff that has been their a wail know me and treat me right, but they treat every one right. they take good care of their pets.

Pros: they have alot to offer

Cons: some times hire dumb kids
