Owner also owns puppy mill in Kansas

posted 7 years ago

All you need to do is check out the owner's report on Here it is:

He is a B class dealer and runs a puppy mill in KS. He supplies pet stores with puppies and has no concept of how awful it is for his HUNDREDS of breeding dogs.

He will probably try to sell you a line about shelters in the US being empty and he will also tell you that shelters are lying about the pet over-population problem.

I would love to see him turn his property and buildings into a sanctuary to house and rehabilitate animals one dy, but I know that is simply crazy on my part.

So before you buy a puppy from this man, or from any pet store, please decide if you can live with the fact that by buying puppies from pet stores, you keep people like him in business.

Can you live with that?

The poor breeding mommies have to, and nobody asked them.

Pros: Supports his own puppy mill

Cons: Greedy Puppy Mill Breeder

NWSK has one thing going for it - chances are, they have the breed of puppy you're looking for. Or, the special "rare hybrid" you didn't know you were missing!

NWSK has been in business for many years - what a lot of people don't tell you is that it's owned by different people than it was 20 years ago, and quality has definately been disregarded in favor of QUANITY. They also really enjoy telling people that their dogs don't come from "puppy mills". Most of their puppies come from an out of state facility owned by the owner. At this facility they breed over 50 different breeds of dog. We're not talking about independent breeders who think carefully about the puppies they're planning on having, paying careful attention to what potential health problems their dogs have. NO, these puppies come from a place where they are valued only for the money they can make for the owner. If that isn't a puppy mill, I don't know what is. Many of the puppies leave the store sick, which the store usually pays for, but many also have genetic problems.

Think carefully before you buy here, and remember that there are plenty of puppies available through your local shelter and rescue groups

Pros: large volume of puppies of varying backrounds available

Cons: sick puppies, high incidence of genetic problems
