Small places are best

posted 7 years ago

This is worth a try. I have found that boutique pet stores carry healthy food and safe toys.

Pros: Carry healthy food

Cons: None

Not just for dogs!

posted 7 years ago

Having one geriatric kitty and another "overly fluffy" one, all three of my cats have different dietary needs. The folks at L & B really understand my concerns and worked hard to research my best feeding options for them and explain the differences. Every-body is much happier now! And their "frequent flyer" program is great! For every $100 you spend, you get a $10 in-store gift certificate. No cards, no hassle. The computer keeps track!

And since I don't have dogs, I go there to get my "dog fix". Customers can bring their dogs in and it's fun on Saturdays to just hang out for awhile!

Pros: A very knowledgeable staff and dependable product lines

Cons: Lighting is more gallery than retail store, but the owner is working on it.
