If it weren't for petco having a vet come in & give low cost vaccinations & heart worm testing it would be very difficult for us to scrape up enough to get our dog her shots every year & still have money left over for her heart worm & flea meds. Offers a discounted heart worm medication at the same time. Its a nice store everyone is always friendly & helpful doesn't smell horrible like some stores do.
Pros: Has a low cost veterinary clinic once a month $55 for all the dogs shots & heart worm testing.
Cons: only offer this once a month

The fees may be higher then west monroe however the information they are able to give on each indiviual animals is alot better then the west monroe shelter. I would highly recommend adopting from this… more ›

Very good shelter located in Monroe. Well taken care of animals with information on each one. Kind staff and loving animals. you wont be disapointed.
