Not knowledgable or helpful

posted 4 years ago

I actually work at a pet store and ventured into CPC to see if they had some aquatic plants for my red ear sliders to munch on. I noticed that they had red ear sliders in the store, which are illegal to sell in MO (no wonder I get ppl in my store asking why they have turtles and we don't!) Well I asked if they were selling them,"no" I asked what they were feeding them...he shows me turtle pellets...I ask about the plants or if they feed their turtles plants...he says no and starts walking away from me!! Anyone who knows anything about red ear sliders knows that they need more nutrients than a can of turtle pellets will provide...and then he went on to say that they would never eat the gold fish in the tank with them....I will never go back to this store!

Pros: Large Selection

Cons: Animals on display that are ILLEGAL to sell!

Friendly folks!

Though I'm not too keen on the sale of small animals and birds, I do like the guys at Columbia Pet Center. They are really friendly and they know their stuff - and they are great fish folks!

Pros: Great staff

Cons: cluttered

I love this team of vets and their services. They are definitly the prefered clinic for my horse. Unfortunatly, I've moved my horse too far east to make it practical for them to be an emergency vet.
