PetCo

My dog needed a haircut in the worst way. She was dirty, too long and had begun to get mats. I hate to go to the grooming places, they all make me feel like a bad dog mom. Petco was different, they didn't make any nasty comments, they treated Sparky very well, and the grooming job was excellent. Sparky was a new dog woman when she got done. We trade there all the time now.

Pros: The people were caring and nice to work with

Cons: They were very busy and it took two days to get in

I have to admit the only reason I shop here is because its close to my house. I hear so many mixed things about these large chains, I don't know what to believe. Their prices are high, but cheaper than the grocery store, plus if you join their membership, you can get great discounts on some of their stuff. Plus, they have a great selection on most things. I can't say too much about the knowledge of the staff, but they are always friendly and willing to help.
