I hate chains, but I usually can't afford the smaller locally owned places. This Petsmart is like most of the others. They have groomers and animal boarding, but I don't use them. I would never buy a pet from Petsmart, but i do get my bird food and kitty litter from them.

Dedicated volunteer staff takes excellent care of their animals. They have long-time volunteers, which adds to the continuity of care and knowledge base

I know people who volunteer here, and one great thing is that they usually can find homes for most of their animals. They have a small location, but lots of dedicated volunteers.
