PETSMART

1) I prefer using a paper mail order catalog to being resticted to the Internet. Paper catalogs are just easier for me. They stopped their mail catalogs years ago. So I prety much gave up on them.

2) Then a few months ago, they built a brick and mortar store about 30 miles from me and I decided to give them another try. I live in a rural area and Petsmart is now the closest pet store to me since the nice mom and pop store 20 miles away went out of business because she couldn't compete with the big chains. Any way, I was very disapointed with the selection of dog food at Petsmart. For such a big store they have so little quality food. I didn't care much for their treats or toys either. They had tons of products but none that I was looking for. I'll continue to drive 60 miles to the pet store I now use for dog food or start using another mail order place.

3) On the plus side I will say that a few years back when I was still dealing with them via mail order and phone, their telephone staff was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful.

Pros: helpful telephone service

Cons: poor selection of quality food and treats; no catalog

We go to PetsMart because of their large selection of products for dogs. Everything from food to dog beds, dog toys, etc.
