Iowa Pet Foods & Aquatics

This is hands down the greatest pet store in central Iowa. They have a great selection of non-megastore brands as well as many of the standards. Pets are always welcome to accompany you in the store. The owners are true animal lovers and donate space to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa to house cats, dogs, and small animals for adoption.

Also, this store used to be known as Seascapes, but changed names when they expanded to more general pet needs. They still have the best saltwater and freshwater selection I've come across in Iowa, and REALLY blow the other stores out of the water when it comes to marine invertebrates.

Its refreshing that an independently owned small businesses like this can continue to thrive. I wouldn't shop anywhere else.
