I have been shopping at Soldan's for years and lately the quality at this store on MLK has gotten really poor. They don't always have 30 pound bags of Wellness Super5Mix for Dogs available. Last time they tried to offer me something totally different because the stocker did not know the difference. It seems like a lot of younger people now work here and that they are not familiar with the products they carry or whether they even carry them. Also, my last experience was horrible as my cashier took about 10 minutes to to ring up my order because she was on the phone with her dad chatting and kept turning around ignoring me. So, I now go the Soldan's in Okemos which is much much better.

Pros: Locally owned, good prices

Cons: poor customer service
