Petco

Petco is Bowling Green's answer to the large chain retail pet stores. Not as large as most PetSmart locations, Petco is still a decent store with a large selection of pet products and foods. You can save on price here if you're careful and compare-shop, but you do sacrifice a bit on customer service from the other smaller pet stores in town. The staff are generally not as knowledgeable in pets and pet products and services as are the staff at their competitors. Good location however and a nice selection for Bowling Green.

Pros: This is a large retail chain pet store, so they stock a larger variety of foods and pet products than do the other pet stores in town.

Cons: The staff is not particularly knowledgeable about products and services. Not the best place to go for sound pet advice.
