Cameo Pet Shop

I used to go here as a kid in NY but I dont think theyre around anymore as a matter of fact I dont remember them even being there before I left NY in 2001

I grew up in Richmond Hill and Cameo has been there since I was a kid. That's over 55 years. Always had great selections and specialize if fish. Still do. In fact they had a Pacu that lived 45 years at least in that store. I visited last summer and they still had him. I noticed a limited but nice selection of supplies. It's been tough economically for them. I used to sell Steve my canaries. budgies and guinea pigs. Of course I gave up breeding pets for the pet trade when I started working in a pet shop and saw first hand how people can treat them as dispoable commodities.

I sure hope business picks up for Cameo. They have always been good people and know their business.

Pros: Friendly courteous and knowledgable

Cons: limited because things are tough these days.
