Mmm . . . how to say this . . .

posted 5 years ago

I don't know what to say or how to say it. The store is nice, yes . . . good variety, lots of holistic and higher-end brands . . . and the lady who works there, Sandy, I think, is quite nice. But . . . when I saw her she was taking hamsters from a boy and she said, "No, I can't take these ones. They have red eyes. And they won't sell if they have red eyes." That tells me they are more concentrated on making money that the animals.

Pros: Good variety, local, nice people

Cons: Pricey, general "air of discontent"

Great Little Shop with a Big Heart

posted 5 years ago

i have been an occassional visitor to Sandy's shop since her grand opening many years ago....i can usually find what i am looking for and if i can't she is very helpful in getting it for me....the prices here are pretty good and often a little better than the big box stores...look for specials and clearance items.......
sandy does allow you to bring your pet in the store
there are obedience classes held here also
this might explain all the pet stains on the carpeting
the store is small, clean, organized and tidy ...the staff is super friendly and helpful

Pros: good variety of products value prices

Cons: carpeting is heavily stained with pet urine

This is a great place to take your dogs. The paths are easy but varied enough to keep your interest. And if your really lucky, the rangers will give you a bone!
