I got this cage as a gift last June, and my rats have been loving it ever since. There's tons of space in all directions (especially vertically), it's fun to watch my rats climb the walls and kick balls around until they fall a few stories down. My only complaints are that assembly takes FOREVER; Martin's Cages sends you 4 walls w/ some ramps and floors attached, and a big bag o' metal clips that you have to plier together every other inch to assemble the cage. With our original, much smaller cage, this was an annoying task. With the Ruud, it took all 3 roommates and about 2 hours of labor. And it's another huge task to clean it. Would I buy it for myself if given the chance? No. But since I have it, I can say that my rats have it good.
