An easy way to add another level

This is a good choice for chinchillas, and can be used for rats as well to add another interesting level or perch.

The wooden block has two grooves in the back of the cage which seem to be spaced to fit perfectly on a Super Pet Cage when attached, and provide the most stability. If you are using it on a cage with different bar spacing, however, the perch may become less stable.

These do need to be replaced every so often as they become soiled, as there really isn't an effective way to sanitize and deodorize wood that has absorbed rodent urine.
