Supporting Shelter: Olympic Peninsula Humane Society
Pros: Very caring staff and volunteers
Cons: just a very old facility that is cramped
This facility was built when the population on the Peninsula was just a fraction of what it is now. With so many more people, sadly more animals come through the shelter. This shelter needs all the help it can get - especially if government continues to trim what it provides due to the economy.
The folks at the shelter have been great! I love the improvements over the past couple years - to help the animals be a little more comfortable.
