Supporting Shelter: Olympic Peninsula Humane Society
Pros: Truly helpful, caring staff
Cons: Very depressing building, antiquated housing
These people come to work in this depressing, outdated, cramped building and yet are always smiling and willing to help in any way they can. I thought the King County shelter was bad, but it looks like heaven compared to this sad shelter. This shelter desperately needs renovation and expansion. This is a large county and yet there is so little room for the many animals that come here. When we get into the top 20 and the people see this shelter, I don't know how we can lose. Thank you OPHS workers and volunteers for your countless hours of service and sacrifice! You are truly angels!
