I love this shelter. When I adopted my dog from here my boyfriend and I decided to become volunteers. Now we go down and socialize whenever we can. The staff is great and caring and pretty helpful. The facilities are very clean for a shelter and they just got new outdoor roofs over the kennels.
The animals here are all great and healthy. Some people donate money to take care of an animal while it's in the shelter and that is just one of the many programs Butte Humane Society has. They also have a great Mutters Day walk so you can support the HS and get your dogs out there walking and socialize with other animal owener. The HS also pairs anyone who didn't bring a dog with one from the shelter to walk.
This is such a great shelter that can always use more help.
