I have worked in animal rescue for many years, in direct contact with shelters all over Northern California & Arizona. I have never worked with a staff that cares more than the staff at BHS. They move heaven & earth for the animals in their charge. They have turned this shelter into one our community can be proud of. Here's a small example of the dedication they show every day, one of the shelter employees offered to care for a little elderly Maltese in her own home until it could get into rescue. The dog needs medical care throughout the day. Thank you, Katie!! And thanks to all the staff for keeping the shelter clean, the animals socialized, and for educating the public effectively.
