Pros: loving caring volunteers
Cons: none

The shelter in Dos Palos has two wonderful. constant Saturday volunteers named Elizabeth and Janice. These two are a perfect pair. They both love animals, yet each has a favorite. You will find Janice caring for the cats and Elizabeth caring for the dogs. They both find volunteering to be a fulfilling and rewarding experience. The unconditional affection they get from the animals is all the reward they need...and that's why they keep coming back every Saturday. Rick Warren said, "...the best way to spell love is T-I-M-E." If you love animals, give them some of your time; volunteer at the shelter. If you come on a Saturday, say hello to Elizabeth, Janice, and the animals. They will be glad to see you!

I DO REMEMBER THE TWO SATURDAYS THAT I VOLENTEERED. WHILE I WAS I CA. THIS LAST DEC. 2007. IT'S A CHALLENGE, BUT MY NIECE ELIZABETH AND I HAD IT DOWN, WORKING TOGETHER AS A TEAM,WE'D TRANSFER ALL THE DOGS AND PUPPS FROM CAGES TO CAGES, SO THAT MY SIS GENO COULD WASH DOWN THEIR LIVE IN CAGES, YOU NEED TO BE STRONG HEARTED, AND CAREING AT THE SAME TIME, WHILE YOU ARE THERE.. MAKES YOU FEEL REALLY GOOD AFTER SEEING WHAT YOU WALK INTO, BECAUSE WHEN YOU LEAVE, YOU KNOW YOU HAVE MADE A DEFFERENCE IN ALL OF THOSE DOGGIES LIVES... THEY HAVE CLEAN CAGES, CLEAN WATER, FOOD AND THEY HAVE GOTTEN TO STRETCH THEY AND RUN AROUND A BIT... I WOULD DEFINATLY DO IT AGAIN IF I COULD OR IF I WAS IN CA WITH MY SIS GENO, AND MY NIECE ELIZABETH......
