Review Details
This is a shelter that has community support. The volunteers make a huge difference, and have a kitten foster program that saves hundreds of cats every year. Working with the local enterprises (Like the dog whisperer.) gives them the advantages of media help.
The city council has awarded the volunteer president honors, and the employee union also has supported them with finances.
When you can get the people to care, you make a difference, and this shelter has done that by allowing the staff to work with the volunteers.
The work out yard and quarantine areas could expand a little, and the volunteers are trying to raise funds toward that end. The city council will likely kick in to help, but some funds will have to be raised first.
