I once volunteered here, and ended up with Pinky and Purr-C. The cat room is especially depressing. The staff do love animals but are very overworked. It wouldn't be so bad if the local Humane Society hadn't started charging people to leave animals with them. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona isn't even part of the national humane society. That's why I don't support them. The director has a very posh house...
