Just LEAVE my message so anyone that is thinking about adopting at this shelter knows that a person from another state heard about this heroic story of The HUmane Society of Southern Arizona rescuing 800 dogs is truly passionate and willing to help rescue animals no matter the vast #.



I am sad to read in another website about the 800 dogs found in a breeders house. The dogs were rescued ....800 of them! I have sent messages to all shelters in Tucson , Arizona wishing you well. The little shelter had rescued during the summer 1 house with 100 cats and 2 other houses w/ approximately 200. Some had to be euthanized from sickness.

I read that these dogs are fairly healthy . Some missing paws due to fights. Some were even pregnant. I saw the pictures one of your staff, female with a braid, in the cage with a bunch of puppies (small dogs?) with a look of sadness .

It is so emotionally when all these animals come in. It is a sense of sadness and ashame that it has happen.

The Little Shelter wishes you the best. This is when the true heart and soul of shelters can be seen by the community with hope they will respond through donations and monies :)
