Shelters that have to take in every animal and don't have space run into the horrible situation of having to euthanize. Most shelters do all they can to adopt out their dogs. They work with area no-kill shelters and hoe the dogs will be resuced, they list on petfinders and many use www.dogsindanger.com, a great website that lists animals that are desperately in need of rescue. I figure any shelter that works that hard at trying to save their animals is doing the best they can and are worthy of a nod.
