Review Details
I have not volunteered at this shelter, but I have adopted from here and my dogs have been kept here when they jumped my 6 foot wood fence. My dogs were well taken care of and I gladly paid the fee for the overnight stay as I know they need the money. This shelter is doing everything in it's power to improve it's visability in the community which in turn improves it's adoption rates and conditions. They have a ground breaking program for working with the 'Bully' breeds as Denver, Aurora and other Colorado suburbs have instituted breed bans, kicking these misunderstood animals out of their homes. I highly respect this program and have not heard of any other shelters in the area doing anything like this. They can use all the support they can get and do the best they can with what they have.
