let's harness this energy and figure out where to go now! Shawna, I know you're too busy but we need people who have experience with capital funds campaigns and REAL fundraisers- you know, the folks who can raise millions. WHere are those people and how can we get them to come and assist? Let's get this place sparkling- remember the other shelters that were in severe need and are now showplaces- Boulder, Longmont-

definitely, and there is another review elsewhere that suggests that the shelter managers make a list of all the things that mile hi needs, then place them in order of importance. then we can call around locally and find the best prices to get the jobs done and then we can raise money one step at a time! shawna let us know how to help, i would love to get more involved! i would like to start with a website, please let me know what kind of information you would like to have on our site!

If there is a list, I would love to see it. I have donated before and I am more than willing to see if I can help out in any way. Let me know if a list does surface!
I completely agree! Great effort from everyone. This reminds me, I volunteer at Greenwood Wildlife Rehab in Longmont and they recently came up with a new campaign called "The Greenwood Way" and have a energy efficient big, beautiful, new multi million dollar sanctuary in the making which is a very long way from the former trailer homes they used. Their new executive director is planning big things, such as a 5K Run/Walk and even things as small as bake sales to help with the costs. We can do similar things and a list of priorities would definitely be a great first step!
