Pros: sweet animals

I first wandered into this shelter a few months ago, after hearing negative things about the shelter in my community, I guess I wanted to see for myself before passing judgement. Something about this place just sucked me in. I probably have sucker written all in caps across my forehead, but I decided to help out. The staff isn't always 100% friendly, the animals aren't always 100% healthy, but there is a MAJOR need for more help here. even if the conditions are not always ideal, the people here do care. Go help out, the animals need it..

admittedly, it's hard to be chipper 100% of the time when people who clearly have bad intentions or unwittingly give off bad vibes come in trying to take home puppies, etc. there are lots of idiots out there in the world, and try as you might, you can't tuen them all away with a smile. the staff can get worn out and frustrated at times, but thanks for understanding that we are all, in the end, here for the animals. <3
The people here care passionately about the animals...I don't think this comment said anything negative about poeple's attitudes, they just stated it like it is...there really is no need to sugar coat anything. It is what it is. This is a good shelter with caring animal lovers supporting it. People who go there with open hearts and open minds can quickly see through all the DRAMA and and nonsense currently surrounding the shelter and see what it truly has to offer.
