I have been to this shelter on several occasions. The staff and volunteers are truly dedicated to finding great homes for these animals. It is not a matter of any home will do. They take special care in placing these wonderful animals with the right humans. I have had the pleasure of fostering a couple of very sick dogs from this shelter. It was very rewarding to get these dogs in a healthy enough condition so they could be apopted. Mile Hi Humane Society could truly use this make over. The facilities are outdated and run down. Even with this handicap you won't find a more dedicated staff or deserving shelter. Stacey, Debbie and the rest of the staff and volunteers are incredible.
