With all the money the shelter must obviously have from the apperance of the place why are they still not a no kill shelter?! I dont' understand that. At least they micro-chip.

A no kill shelter only accepts animals that they belive they can place. They are limited admission, while the DFL on the other had accepts old, sick, aggressive and they all cannot get homes. They have to be responsible when placing animals into homes, and frankly euthanasia isn't the worst thing in the world. I have worked in the sheltering world, and have seen some absolutly horrific things, you cannot blame them for being a responsible organization and doing all that they can for EVERY animal that is brought in.. Not just the nice, cute highly adoptable animals.
