In A Cobbled Together Building ...

Pros: The heart and idea of it. Honesty of Staff

Cons: The building itself, old and difficult to function in.

Nothing tells the ruth like a story...
We have two pooches from Max Fund. Both were a bit of a risk for us to adopt, but both also needed a good home. The first had been at Max Fund 14 months. Tried to be adopted twice but snapped in scary situations. Max Fund took her back, twice. They were as patient with us as they had been with her. They were honest about her background with the nipping and allowed us to visit her many times taking her out to play and getting used to our 5 year old daughter and me pregnant. That daughter is now almost 17 and the dog is still with us though the end is near. She has been a great companion and friend to our kids. We may never have adopted her if they had not given us so much time to get to know one another. Any other shelter and she would have been euthanized.

The second dog we adopted had been brought to Max Fund after being attacked by a mountain lion. His hair was still growing back from where he had been shaved and stitched. He was so scared that he would not go to sleep with anyone in the room and so tired from that he would fall asleep sitting up. It took a lot of patience (again) once we got him home.

I loved your review, but my guess is you meant to rank it higher than a 1? Might email support@zootoo.com and see if they can change it for you.
Did you mean to give us a 1 rating? Reading your review I would imagine (I hope) you meant to give us more?
