Get a load of this!

VAP is very dedicated to helping animals in need. I've seen their volunteers pushing the limit: doing adoption day every wkend at 2 locations (Petsmart & Petco), fundraising in Old Town Spring in front of their big supporter Wimberly Valley Winery almost every wkend, posting volunteer flyers around the community, answering emails & adoption hotline, asking certain websites to ban breeder & stud service classifieds, etc.

VAP's morning dog department volunteer has the heart of gold. She goes out of way to make the dogs happy,cleans the care facility like you wouldn't believe. She's constantly putting in more than 100% effort to help out the 4 legged friends. You couldn't ask for better dog care!
There is also another lady who also helps her out at their care facility. This dirt hauling, floor scrubbing, weed pulling, laundry folding, generous animal lover is their every wk lending a helping hand.

Last, but not least, let's not forget their handywoman. She also comes to the animal care facility in the am to help out. She's dedicated & hardworking :)

You couldn't ask for a better crew

However, which such a limited amount of over volunteered volunteers, and a small budget, VAP in need of your help more than ever to help win this shelter make over contest. With better facilities, VAP would be able to accomondate pets more comfortably, and possibly be able to accept more at the samtime.
