Pros: caring staff
Cons: too little space
I got my miniature schnauzer at the HSNT Southwest Adoption Center in March. The staff there is dedicated and very caring about both the animals and the people adopting them. When I first saw my Molly, she was a shaggy mess, but by the time I was ready to take her home after a thorough interview, she was gorgeous.

For different reasons, several people who came in the day I was there had to be turned away, but each time they were treated with respect.

The unfortunate thing is that the SWAC is small and the spaces were completely filled. One little fellow was even camping out in the break room. But from interacting with them, you could tell that they'd have more animals there is they could.

TJ - young animal caring people like you are our future and I am not only PROUD of you but relieved that the animals will have better lives because of men like you.
