We adopted our 1 year old pointer Darla from the shelter in January. After recieving her, we found out she was sick with parvo- luckily we caught everything in time and she is now a thriving little princess. Our son, who is also one, calls every animal he sees "RARRA"...he loves her so much and she has really made our days at home much more fulfilling. Had it not been for this shelter I dont think our family would feel as whole as it does now. The staff is amazing and every time I come back I feel welcomed. This shelter deserves to have something wonderful happen for the staff and especially the animals. We dont live in a very rich town, so finding the funds to help support it seems to come few and far between. But these animals are truely loved! This shelter deserves a wonderful gift to give to their wonderful staff and animals. Thank you!
