Supporting Shelter: Altus Animal Aid Adoption Center
Pros: the only No Kill shelter in the SW Oklahoma area
Cons: Not enough room and kennels to handle the amount of animals which comes in from Animal control
The Altus Animal Aid Shelter is a wonderful program that I can not say enough about. I have worked with Ernie and Dorothy now for two years raising money and to assist in getting animals adopted. What Animal Aid needs is a more updated building with more room for more kennels to house animals and an area for potential new families to come and be able to fully interact with the animals before adoption.

I agree that it would be wonderful to increase capacity. Even more beneficial work could then be completed.
