St. Tammany Humane Society can be summed up in in two words .... " NO KILL " ... okay, okay, make it three words . . . HUMANE and "NO KILL".
As difficult and laborious as it is to set your standards so high, as heart wrenching as it is to see "too much month at the end of the money" time after time after time . . . NOTHING compares with the gratification of knowing that you and your associates are carrying on the good fight for a most worthy cause.
Every little bit of help is like a miracle of its own right !!
Every little victory is a milestone !!
We often hear ourselves or others using the cliche . . .
"One Day At A Time" . . . but when you truly LIVE that way, the exhileration of beginning the new day is rivalled only by the frustrations of things that could've gone better on the day before.
Nothing worth fighting for comes without a fight.
These people are in there on OUR behalf . . .fighting for deserving animals we may never "know" or "meet".... or, dare I suggest? ... even "ADOPT" !!!
Check them out, I"m confident they have the pet you've been waiting for all this time and just didn't realize he/she was so close to you all the while !!!
