Pros: Great to have a vet clinic with the shelter
Cons: location
I visit the St. Tammany Humane Socieyt on occasion to deliver items. This shelter is outdated and stressed due to the large number of animals coming in. They really appreciate donations and do their best to get as many animals as possible adopted. They work closely with rescue groups in the area and are very dedicated to doing the best they can with what little resources they have. Please adopt or donate!

The original shelter was built around 1953, additions have been made to the original building over the years. We do need a new facility and if we could win this makeover and build a new facility we could do so much more. Please contact your friends to join us and have them contact their friends.
